Midwest Industrial Tool Grinding, Inc., Recognized as a Top Workplace in Minnesota.
HUTCHINSON, MN – June 16, 2015
Midwest Industrial Tool Grinding, Inc. (MITGI) has been recognized as one of the top workplaces in Minnesota by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The 150 Top Workplaces are selected based solely on feedback from an employee satisfaction survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics. The survey measures factors that impact job satisfaction such as career opportunities, workplace culture, and employee engagement.
“Since our founding in 1993, MITGI has experienced steady growth and the addition of new employees each year,” explains Eric Lipke, MITGI Vice President and General Manager. “In the early years, roles and responsibilities for each employee changed and expanded to include new opportunities to match the expanding needs of the company. Now that we’ve grown to include more than 50 employees, MITGI works to maintain that same culture of innovation and growth.”
“We believe that it’s important to encourage employees to take on new tasks that are outside their area of expertise, but are of personal and professional interest,” describes Sheila Murphy, MITGI HR Director. “Support is provided to allow employees to participate in training and leadership programs, adjusting workloads so that they can take the time to grow as individuals and in their own career.”
The Top Workplaces special section was published in the Star Tribune on Sunday, June 14. More information is available at: http://www.startribune.com/2015-top-150-workplaces/307123441/
